Learn assertive communication to tackle typical MBSE challenges. This hands-on workshop helps engineers speak up clearly and constructively, improving collaboration, decisions, and team trust in complex, interdisciplinary projects.

OSMoSE, the Space System Ontology and the ecosystem

Overview of the OSMoSE initiative for semantic interoperability, overview of the Space System Ontology, in particular the MBSE Universe of Discourse semantics, introduction to other Universe of Discourses, the existing ecosystem and tooling.

SysMLv2: A tool-agnostic conceptual introduction

General SysML v2 language constructs will be introduced. Both a conceptual introduction as well as suitable example models will be provided in the textual notation. Some textual SysML v2 tool on the practitioners' machines will be used to create models.

Write Functional Specifications with Models

Application of a SysML v2 MBSE/Digital Engineering Methodology in a Collaborative Group Work

The participants will exercise a comprehensive MBSE/DE methodology designed in SysML v2 on a small task to be performed on an Air Taxi model. The methodology is used as a Library to support the collaborative development of the project by the WG team.

MBSE in Space Domain with MagicGrid and SysML v2

Learn how to apply the MagicGrid framework with SysML v2 through a practical system architecture example from the space domain. The session shows how combining methodology and modeling language addresses flexibility and complexity of SysML v2.

Traceable MBSE for a Space System (CubeSat Example)

The session presents an approach for successfully managing the design effort for a space system using a combined textural and graphical model of a CubeSat with the ability to surface up real time traceability metrics.

Return of experience on MBSE adoption in space projects: challenges and solutions

The workshop consists of 2 back-to-back sessions of 1.5h (with coffee-break from 10h30 until 11h00) each where challenges and pain points will be identified, before discussing candidate solutions.

First, an open source SysML v2 library for space models will be introduced. Afterwards, a practical exercise using the library will be carried out. In the end, a discussion of future collaborations and development with the audience.

Human-LLM Interaction to Support MBSE Adoption in the Space Industry: Technical and Dialogic Perspectives

This session explores the application of LLM-powered assistant in MBSE, highlighting both technical and human-machine interaction aspects. With a case study on the topic of an MBSE assistant and a collaborative session on analyzing Human-LLM interaction.

Objective of this discussion is to address the evolution of MBSE modelers from a user point of view (30 minute round-robin).
