OSMoSE, the Space System Ontology and the ecosystem

Proper interoperability of information requires more than selecting the right language or exchange format. It requires to have a common semantic understanding of the concepts within a certain domain, e.g. MBSE. Only then the concepts / fields in models and tools can contain knowledge and can be translated from one stakeholder to another. This requires discussing and agreeing on formal semantics of the meaningful concepts.

The participants are expected to gain awareness on the content of the Space System Ontology (in terms of semantics) and the means to use the Space System Ontology model in order to build Information Systems (on the logical and physical architectural level). The different languages and tools in the overall OSMoSE ecosystem will be shown as well as upcoming developments towards SysMLv2, RDF, Shacle etc.
