IVRPA 2024 Las Vegas Conference ~ Immersive Spaces & Beyond It's finally here, the International VR Professionals Association Conference—Immersive Spaces & Beyond will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the Tuscany Suites & Casino. This year's conference will focus on Immersive Spaces, Techniques and Entertainment. The lineup of speakers covers the full spectrum of immersive media, from documentaries to music videos and beyond. Speakers committed include Michael Quan, Hugh Hou, Keeley Turner, Matt Rowell, Greg Downing, Rachel Bracker, Al Caudullo, Michael Ty, Stephanie Wilcox, Loren Ybarrando, Geoffrey Bruce, Terry Brown, and Michael Buday from MacGillivray Freeman Films, creators of One Ocean in Abu Dhabi. More speakers are being added and will be announced. Subjects include Storytelling in VR Video, One Ocean SeaWorld, 6DoF Techniques, Apple Vision Pro, Reality Capture: Apps, Nerfs, Splats, and LIDAR, YouTube & DeoVR channel development, Digital Twins, Google Analytics, Photogrammetry workflows, ADA Compliance, Pano2VR, Architectural Lighting, and Best VR Business Practices. And because we're in Las Vegas, how can we not take in an immersive show at The Sphere Experience, showing Darren Aronofsky's Postcard from Earth? Before that Terry Brown and Michael Buday from MacGillivray Freeman Films, creators of One Ocean in Abu Dhabi, will join a panel to discuss immersive media. To top it off, we will have workshops on Friday, June 28, including Al Caudullo who will run a mock production for DeoVR and YouTube.
