Tech4Smart Cities 2024

About this event

Tech4SmartCities 2024 focusses in particular on sustainable, smart and digital technologies for cities that wish to reduce their green house gass emisisons and to reduce their environmental and digital footprint. The B2B event will be hosted in Brussels by hub.brussels and participation is free of charge. The Brokerage Event will this year be organized back to back with the GreenTech Forum Brussels that takes places on 18 & 19 June 2024. EEN participants with B2B meetings are welcome to attend some of the GreenTech Forum workshops and conferences for fee (and will benefit from a reduced tarrif). Registration for this event can be done through the GTF Brussels website. The focus of the event will be on smart, sustainable and digital technologies and solutions related to energy performance, urban mobility, sustainable construction, circularity, low carbon economy and digital transformation that can contribute towards the achievement of objectives to reduce the environmental and digital footprint in cities. Main topics covered by the matchmaking event: • Sustainable ICT for cities and smart communities • Smart mobility and logistics, MaaS • Energy-efficiency of buildings and districts • Renewable energies, energy management and recovery, • Smart grids and energy systems integration • Circular economy and nature based solutions for urban districts • Smart, healthy and secure living An informative webinar will be hosted by the NCP Brussels network during lunch time to highlight related upcoming European Research and Innovation opportunities under the Horizon Europe Programme.
