invest.austria and AustrianStartups are hosting the Startup World Cup for the fourth time in Austria - a stage where ideas meet opportunities. This isn’t just a competition, it’s the full SWC experience. Applications for the Startup World Cup Austria are open from 5 February to 10 March 2024. Early-stage startups that can present at least one prototype/MVP, were founded in Austria and are looking for funding of up to €1 million are eligible. After the end of the application phase, the 36 most promising startups will be selected from all submissions and announced on 24 March. At the pre-events on 11 April in Innsbruck, 18 April in Linz, 25 April in Graz and 8 May in Vienna, 12 startups will pitch for one of the four places in the final. The final of the Startup World Cup Austria 2024 will take place on 3 June at the WKÖ Vienna. In addition to the title of Austrian Startup of the Year and the opportunity to represent Austria in the global final in San Francisco, many other prizes await the winner.
