"Promoting Innovation in Life Sciences - Friuli Venezia Giulia, The Place to Be" is a comprehensive event aimed at enhancing the research and innovation ecosystem in the field of Life Sciences in Friuli Venezia Giulia, promoting the national sector, encouraging international exchange and collaboration. The event will take place at the Trieste Convention Center on November 8th and 9th, 2023. This initiative is initiated and supported by the Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia (Regione Autonoma Friuli Venezia Giulia), organized by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Life Sciences Cluster - Technological Hub Alto Adriatico "Andrea Galvani" (Cluster Scienze della Vita Friuli Venezia Giulia - Polo Tecnologico Alto Adriatico "Andrea Galvani"), and features The European House-Ambrosetti as a content partner. The event will feature plenary conferences, parallel sessions, exhibition spaces and networking opportunities to delve into the current state of the art and trends in the sector. Attendees will have the chance to learn about success stories from established companies and innovative startups, explore new opportunities for education, employment, and business. Furthermore, the event aims to inform participants about the existing opportunities in the field of Life Sciences in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a region that increasingly aims to establish itself as a reference point for all stakeholders in the sector (institutions, universities, public and private research centers, companies, startups, investors), as well as key figures (policy and decision makers, academic representatives, scientists, researchers, doctors, entrepreneurs, innovators). Topics covered will include artificial intelligence applied to Life Sciences, innovation in the sector for regional competitiveness, technology transfer, funding mechanisms, and some of the most current topics in medical research, from healthy aging to genomics challenges.
