IOIP System Innovation 2025

About this event

INTERNATIONAL OPEN INNOVATION PROGRAMME (IOIP) is an initiative based in Emilia-Romagna region (Italy) that aims at supporting local companies to address specific business challenges by creating strategic matches with other business and research actors of the international innovation ecosystem. The second edition is involving three types of actors: selected companies from the Emilia-Romagna Region and Italian and international Solvers coming from both the Business and Research world, in particular micro-enterprises, SMEs, scale-ups, start-ups, spin-offs, laboratories, research groups and researchers. The business challenges addressed by the second edition of the program regard System Innovation in particular Climate Change and Natural Resources & Biodiversity. The program is composed by three key points. The Matchmaking phase is dedicated to the selected companies based in Emilia-Romagna and to the admitted Business and Research Solvers with the goal of addressing the companies’ challenges. Companies and Solvers have 3 months to match (April - July, 2025), connect and find opportunities to co-create solutions around shared business needs. A closing event of IOIP (Q4, 2025 TBD), where further matches, as well as networking with the national and international innovation community, will take place. The event will be open to innovation actors from all over the world.
