Economy and society benefit immensely from the great potential of digital systems. However, these require the best possible protection in order to ensure their functionality over the long term. Cybersecurity is one of the most important requirements to protect IT systems and networks, company data, robots and critical infrastructure from theft, damage or sabotage. Important are strategies and tools for medium-sized businesses and critical infrastructure. Finland is one of the digital pioneers and Germany the biggest industrial country in Europe. Therefore, we are bringing together Finnish and German companies as well as representatives from politics and public institutions - at the German-Finnish Business Forum 2023 on September 28th. in Rostock. In this way, we want to make progress together in cybersecurity for medium-sized companies and for critical infrastructure and enable mutual cooperation. Our business forum consists of a variety of different formats: keynotes by experts from business and politics, thematic presentations by companies with concrete solutions, short pitches on a separate pitching stage, as well as a wide range of networking and matchmaking opportunities for participants.
