About this event
The French armament procurement agency (DGA, Direction Générale de l'Armement) and its partners FMES, OPTITEC, POLE MER, SAFE, SCS and TVT are organizing the 1st Euro-Mediterranean (EUROMED) Forum dedicated to Defence SMEs in TOULON (French Riviera, FRANCE) on Wednesday July 6th, 2022. The EUROMED Forum aims to support the creation of winning consortia in the frame of the European Defence Fund (EDF). With a budget of 8 billion for 2021-2027, the EDF is a European Commission's key initiative to support collaborative Defence research and development, and to foster an innovative and competitive Defence industrial base. As such, BtoB meetings will be organized between Southern French SMEs and Southern-European SMEs located in Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Slovenia and Spain, in order to establish or strengthen links, and help to build partnerships. The following topics will be addressed : defense and security, naval, aeronautics and space, optics, optronic, microelectronics, secure communications, cyber protection. These BtoB will be supplemented by informal meetings between the companies who will attend the EUROMED Forum and those which will exhibit at the TVT Technology Day (technological integration in complex defense or dual systems) which hosts the EUROMED Forum.
