Virtual Scotland-Germany Matchmaking Days | Earth Observation for Land Management

About this event

The virtual event is focused on Earth Observation for Land Management (Agriculture and Forestry), focus topics are: climate risks and adaptation (e.g. severe storms, fires, heat waves, flooding, extreme drought, water scarcity), biological risks (e.g. subsequent mass reproduction of bark beetles, new pests) and carbon farming, including soil carbon sequestration, reforestation, agroforestry, peatland restoration. The first part includes expert presentations by key players in Scotland and Germany, followed by an optional 1:1-matchmaking. Invited to participate are companies that supply or develop relevant technologies and users as well as research institutions.
