Economic Forum

About this event

The Forum has as its main objective the creation of conditions for new and deeper relations between the Czech and Portuguese economies. This event hopes to capitalize on the momentum achieved by the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The Forum is an integral part of the Cycle of Conferences and Events organized by the Embassy of Portugal in the Czech Republic, with the partnership of the Representation of the European Commission in Prague, the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic and, in this case, the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA). The economic Forum will gather representatives from Portuguese and Czech business companies of key sectors of mutual interest for Portugal and the Czech Republic (v.g. agro-industry trade; tourism and related trade industries; construction and public works; energy; renewable energy; artificial intelligence; space; avionics; nanotechnology; technologic innovations; quantum computer; moulds, components for the automotive industry; etc.), as well as the most important business associations and representatives of Portugal and Czech governments. The participation of the Portuguese and Czech business companies in the economic Forum will entail a full fledge programme composed by professional presentations and discussions between the Portuguese and the Czech companies. The Forum will take place on June 8th, in virtual format, due to the restrictive measures imposed to combat Covid-19.
