13ª Feria Internacional Canagua y Energía

About this event

CanAgua & Energía 2022 is an international trade fair celebrating its 13th year, promoted by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria and organised by INFECAR. Its aim is to turn the Canary Islands into a laboratory for the energy transition at an international level, while facilitating new business opportunities, new power generation models, storage, efficiency, desalination, water recycling, investment, promotion and collaboration within the context of the water-energy nexus. The experience gained by the Canary Islands in integral water cycle management and the use of renewable energies represents a development model that can be transferred to the rest of the world through the implementation of small and medium scale solutions. For more than five decades, the Institución Ferial de Canarias (INFECAR) has been helping build bridges for business partnerships between Europe, Africa and America, with a strong focus on the Macaronesian region. The Canary Islands are a strategic point of entry and exit between Europe and Africa, as they are able to satisfy the basic needs not only of their population, but also of the nearly 16 millions of tourists that visit the islands every year. The islands are a safe destination, with high-quality European standards and with the lowest taxes on the continent (4% TAX) -Canary Islands Special Zone (ZEC). In line with our policy of organising specialised fairs for professionals, the CanAgua & Energía International Fair 2022, now celebrating its 13th year, aims to become one of the leading events in the field of renewable energy and water in the Canary Islands.
