At b2match, networking and matchmaking are more than just features—they’re the foundation of our platform. Whether you're hosting a large-scale business conference or a small meetup, the real value comes from the conversations that happen between participants.
That’s why we’ve made a few changes—some big, some small—that result in a more flexible, intuitive, and powerful networking experience. These updates are all designed to help meaningful meetings happen more often.
Flexible scheduling, your way.
Before, you could decide if meetings were scheduled either by the person sending the request or the person accepting it. Now, you can give your participants the power to decide!
When sending a meeting request, your participants can propose a time slot—or let their meeting partner choose one. If a time is proposed, the recipient simply confirms it. If not, the recipient selects the time when accepting the request.

This small change makes the experience more dynamic and participant-friendly, giving your attendees the flexibility they need to connect more easily.
Choose the right networking style for your event.
Events come in all shapes and sizes, and so do the needs of organizers. That’s why we redesigned how participants schedule meetings, giving you more control over the process.
First, you can choose the Meeting Request Mode, giving you the option to choose between manual approval and automatic acceptance of meeting requests. The Approval option gives participants full control, allowing them to accept or decline each meeting individually.
For events where speed and efficiency matter more than curation, the Automatic mode confirms meetings instantly. Participants can still cancel the meeting if needed, but there’s no wasting time in waiting for a meeting request to be approved.

We’ve also refined our Scheduling Mode. In many cases, it makes sense to let participants schedule their own meetings during the booking period. It’s fast, intuitive, and puts power directly in their hands.
But sometimes, you need a more coordinated approach—especially if your event includes designated meeting points, limited seating, or carefully balanced matchmaking. In those cases, you can take full control of the schedule behind the scenes. Once you're ready, publish it and participants will see their confirmed meetings appear. This helps reduce complexity and keeps the overall event flow smooth and professional.

All your networking options, now in one place.
To make all of this even easier, we’ve completely reimagined our Networking Settings interface. It’s more intuitive, more visual, and brings together powerful networking options in a single place.
Now, in one place, you can activate AI recommendations, decide if participants specify their networking availability during registration, and add meeting blocks to their Agenda for one, unified view of the event program. You even have the option to automatically enroll participants into networking, so no one misses the opportunity to connect.

For an even more organized process, you can set up an expiration for meeting requests, from as little as 15 minutes to as long as 10 days. And if you need to define the number of participants per meeting, you can do that too—all in just a few clicks.

A familiar favorite, reimagined.
One of our most appreciated features from version 6 is back in version 7, now more powerful and easier to use than ever.
The Meeting Manager (previously called Scheduler) gives organizers a bird’s-eye view of all meetings, both scheduled and unscheduled. You’ll see a clear grid of time slots and meeting locations, organized by meeting blocks.

You can schedule all meetings automatically, by letting AI do the heavy lifting, or take full control and schedule all meetings by yourself.
You can schedule a meeting by simply clicking on an open time slot, and you’ll also see which participants are involved. If a participant has an assigned meeting point, like a booth or table, the system respects that and prevents double bookings.

Whether you're managing 50 meetings or 500, the Meeting Manager makes it easier to stay in control without being overwhelmed.
Why does it matter?
At its core, b2match is about creating spaces for valuable conversations to happen—conversations that lead to partnerships, insights, opportunities, and outcomes. These updates are designed to bring more structure to those moments without taking away flexibility.
They're built to support you, as you manage the energy and rhythm of your event. And they're made for your participants, so they can focus less on logistics and more on making connections that matter.
This is just one step in our ongoing effort to help you deliver better events, better matchmaking, and better results. As always, we’re listening—and building with purpose.
