Keep sessions exclusive with track-based access limits!

Feb 25, 20261 min read

When sessions fill up quickly, organizers need precise tools to manage who gets access to what. With track-based session limits, you can now define how many sessions participants are allowed to sign up for within a specific track based on their Participant Type or Ticket.

This adds a new layer of control that helps you to better structure access to high-demand content and align session availability with your ticketing model.

Flexible configuration at track level.

Limits can be defined directly within a track and differentiated per participant type or ticket. By default, tracks remain unlimited and you decide where restrictions should apply.

The feature works seamlessly with your existing session rules, including sign-up periods and overlap prevention. As always, the most restrictive rule applies.

Organizers retain flexibility and can still manually assign participants to sessions when needed.

Clear limits for participants.

Participants clearly see how many sessions they can book within a track and how many spots remain available to them. Once the limit is reached, additional sessions in that track are automatically disabled with a clear explanation.

This way, you have a structured way to manage session capacity without adding complexity to the participant experience.

Align content access with your strategy.

Track-based session limits open up new possibilities for structuring your agenda more intentionally. You might choose to give premium ticket holders broader access to masterclasses, limit hands-on workshops to a smaller number per participant, or reserve deeper-dive tracks for selected attendee groups.

Instead of relying solely on individual session caps, you can now manage access at track level, allowing you to align capacity, ticket value, and content strategy in a more deliberate way.

The Track-based session limits are now available in all newly created events.
