Pizzico - From salt works to table

Ottavia Pietropoli

Hotel reception manager, manager of the ‘Le guide del sale’ project and environmental educator. at Cooperativa Gea Ambiente e Turismo - MuMA Hostel

Cagliari, Italy

About

Pizzico is an enhancement of an existing project linked to the Sant'Antioco Salt Pans. It is the first project between MuMA Hostel and Bonora Sardegna to develop the salt supply chain on our island, link it to tourism development and expand the local educational and experiential offering.

To improve the project, it might be useful to purchase a salt dosing machine, expand production with new salt-based products, and expand the sales network for these products and related experiences through better communication.
