At Cooperativa Gea Ambiente e Turismo (Ecoistituto Mediterraneo), we are dedicated to promoting sustainable tourism and environmental awareness through our museums, hotels and environmental education centres. We are committed to creating experiences that connect people with local communities. Our team is passionate about showcasing the beauty and culture of our region, offering eco-friendly accommodation and activities that promote respect for our environment. The MuMA in Sant'Antioco is a place with many souls: it is a sea museum, an eco-hostel and a centre for environmental and sustainability education. We also organise guided tours of the Sant'Antioco salt pans.
I am a member of the Cooperativa Gea Ambiente e Turismo (Ecoistituto Mediterraneo), which operates in Sardinia and deals with sustainable tourism and environmental and sustainability education. Together with my partners, we run a museum of the sea and a museum of the lagoon, two hotels and five environmental education centres in the south of Sardinia.
I have a degree in Science and Technology for the Environment and Resources from the University of Parma. I have been living in Sardinia for 17 years, but I was born in northern Italy. I am an environmental educator and I also work in a hotel as a reception manager.
I believe in the power of teamwork and the beauty of sharing, so much so that the Sardinian saying "bucconi sparzìu, s'angelu si nci sézziri (where food is shared, an angel sits)" is now also mine.
