About

Fundacja Jana Plac is a young community foundation based in Chorzów Stary, a post-industrial neighbourhood in Silesia, Poland. In 2026 we are transforming a local space into a community hub, supported by approved funding for renovation and job creation.

We would like to join a consortium under NEB-2026-01-PARTICIPATION-03 as a pilot neighbourhood and community engagement partner.

We offer:A real-life neighbourhood transformation process currently underway, strong relationships with local residents and grassroots groups, experience in participatory workshops and dialogue-based facilitation, capacity to organise co-creation activities, local consultations and community testing, and post-industrial context relevant to just transition discussions.

We are particularly interested in projects exploring how neighbourhood transformation influences residents’ wellbeing, belonging and civic engagement.

We are not seeking to coordinate the project but to contribute as a committed local implementation partner within a broader European consortium.
