About

Fundacja Jana Plac is a community organisation based in Chorzów Stary, a post-industrial neighbourhood in Silesia, Poland. We work on local regeneration through community building, participatory processes and social innovation.

We create a neighbourhood transformation hub combining placemaking, cultural heritage, community dialogue and leadership programmes that strengthen civic engagement and local resilience. Our work focuses on co-creation with residents, developing community spaces and testing new models of inclusive and sustainable local development aligned with New European Bauhaus values.

We are looking for partners interested in community-led regeneration, social innovation, placemaking, just transition and participatory approaches to neighbourhood transformation.
