About
Liebling Haus, The White City Center in Tel Aviv, is looking to join a consortium for HORIZON-NEB-2026-01-PARTICIPATION-02: Innovative approaches for the spatial design of neighbourhoods.
Liebling Haus is a multidisciplinary urban center established by the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality in cooperation with the German government. We connect architecture, urban research, public space, culture, education, urban nature and community engagement, combining research and experimentation with direct work in the city and with its communities.
As part of the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality, we can potentially contribute a neighbourhood pilot and urban living lab in a dense Mediterranean urban context. We bring strong connections to municipal actors, local communities and professionals, as well as experience in participatory processes, co-creation, neighbourhood research, urban nature and biodiversity, climate-responsive public space, local heritage and on-site experimentation.
Our distinctive strength is the ability to connect research, spatial practice and public engagement. Liebling Haus develops exhibitions, public programmes, professional training, research projects and international collaborations, allowing new approaches to be tested locally, discussed with diverse audiences and translated into knowledge that can be shared and replicated.
For this call, we are particularly interested in collaborations exploring how public spaces can become more inclusive, climate-resilient, biodiverse and responsive to the everyday experiences of different users. We are also interested in methods that connect local knowledge, community participation, spatial design and the cultural and creative sectors.
We would be glad to connect with coordinators and emerging consortia looking for a committed municipal partner, a Mediterranean pilot context, and an experienced platform for co-creation, experimentation and public engagement.
