V European Investment Forum in Uruguay

Uruguay is at the forefront in the use of renewable energy sources and Europe is a global leader in renewable energy when it comes to technology development and deployment. European companies and technologies play a vital role in the green hydrogen projects outlined in Uruguay's Hydrogen Roadmap. In 2023, the European Union and Uruguay signed a bilateral Memorandum of Understanding on “renewable energies, energy efficiency and renewable hydrogen”. In this context, V European Investment Forum will be held on 30 September and 1 October in Montevideo. This event is organized by the EU Delegation to Uruguay and the InsPYraME UE 2.0 project, implemented by the Chamber of Commerce and Services of Uruguay and the Eurochamber in Uruguay. The event will be attended by Kadri Simson, European Commissioner for Energy.
