About

Festivals across Europe serve millions of meals, yet sourcing local, sustainable products at scale remains difficult. Organisers and food vendors often lack structured access to reliable producers, while environmental impacts of meals are rarely measured.

Our project addresses this by building a framework that connects producers, chefs and organisers through sourcing tools, sustainability guidelines and environmental impact indicators.

Key challenges include coordinating diverse stakeholders, ensuring consistent supply, and adapting tools to real festival constraints.

With additional TASTE support, we aim to scale this model at European level by collaborating with international partners to integrate digital environmental scoring tools and disseminate best practices across festival networks.
