About

ACEAA – Association for the Study and Innovation in Architecture – is a New European Bauhaus Community Partner based in Spain and is seeking to join a consortium preparing a proposal for HORIZON-NEB-2026-01-PARTICIPATION-01 – Addressing homelessness through housing-led approaches aligned with the New European Bauhaus.

ACEAA can contribute complementary architectural and design expertise to interdisciplinary consortia led by organisations with strong experience in homelessness, housing policy and social services.

We can contribute to tasks related to:

  • inclusive architectural and spatial design;

  • participatory and co-design methodologies;

  • design of shared, transitional and community spaces;

  • relationships between housing and neighbourhood public space;

  • accessibility, dignity and quality of spatial experience;

  • stakeholder engagement and co-creation;

  • design-led research and prototyping;

  • integration of sustainability, inclusion and aesthetics;

  • communication, dissemination and public engagement.

ACEAA is particularly interested in how spatial design can support dignity, belonging, social connection and long-term integration within housing-led approaches.

We are interested in contributing as a project partner and Task Leader in areas related to spatial design, participatory processes, neighbourhood integration, co-creation and NEB-oriented design research.

We seek collaboration with municipalities, housing organisations, NGOs, universities, social-service providers and organisations with direct experience in homelessness and Housing First approaches.
