About
CONCEPT AT A GLANCE
PULSE-NEB is a comparative living-lab research project linking sensory, spatial, social, cultural and environmental neighbourhood qualities with lived experience, health, well-being, belonging and acceptance of the green transition. A common framework will generate comparable evidence in at least three urban, peri-urban and rural neighbourhoods across three countries, focusing on vulnerable groups. Municipalities, residents, researchers, designers and cultural actors will co-research needs and test reversible micro-interventions where feasible. The PULSE APP combines digital, face-to-face and offline diaries, sensory maps and pulse surveys. An anonymised dashboard and curated evidence repository will translate findings into guidance for nature-positive, climate-resilient planning, procurement and cultural/heritage action.
