BRIDGE2ADAPT HORIZON-MISS-2026-01-CLIMA-04 Bridging the gap between Disaster Risk Management and Climate Adaptation

BRIDGE2ADAPT is a proposed Coordination and Support Action (CSA) under the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change.

The project aims to bridge Climate Adaptation and Disaster Risk Management through a shared preparedness structure capable of creating a common language understood by municipalities, organisations, businesses, researchers, civil protection actors, and communities alike.

Our vision is to strengthen collaboration across Europe by supporting preparedness, resilience, governance, adaptation planning, and knowledge exchange through a permanent European ecosystem approach.

We are currently building the consortium and are seeking organisations interested in contributing expertise, pilot experiences, methodologies, networks, technologies, governance models, or stakeholder engagement activities relevant to preparedness and adaptation.

We are particularly interested in:

• Municipalities and regional authorities

• Disaster Risk Management organisations

• Climate adaptation organisations

• Research centres and universities

• Innovation hubs and clusters

• Civil protection organisations

• SMEs and technology providers

• Water, infrastructure, energy, food and resilience experts

• Climate finance and investment organisations

• Networks working on preparedness, governance, community resilience, and adaptation
