How does the B2B Matchmaking work?
All participants are by default registered for the 1:1 networking (signing-off possible). To request a 1:1 meeting with one of the participants you simply browse the participants list and identify good matches. Afterwards you send your meetings requests and add a line why a meeting would make sense. Once the recipient(s) accepts your request the meeting will be scheduled on a reserved table and next free timeslot on the event.
The networking is open before and during the event. After the event you can still stay in touch with other event participants via the integrated chat messaging.
How can you benefit from the matchmaking?
-
Publish and showcase your products, projects, services or business needs to event participants.
-
Initiate and arrange promising pre-scheduled 1:1 meetings at the event.
-
Generate fresh leads and meet new contacts in a time and cost-efficient way.
-
Stay one step ahead of your competitors by being seen and visibly present at the event.
Important Issues
This B2B matchmaking platform is designed to help partners to further improve and develop their innovative idea/technology / product / service and is not a unique ‘buyer – seller’ event.
The B2B matchmaking platform should similarly not be used by consultants to sell their advisory services to clients. Consultants with specific expertise to become partners of Horizon Europe projects for instance are welcome provided they explain this expertise and give references of past Horizon 2020/Horizon Europe projects they have been involved in.
IMPORTANT TO READ!!!
The Commission has published Work Programme 2026-2027– part 12 Missions and it is available on here.
The event is free of charge but registration and profile activation are mandatory to attend the brokerage event.
When registering, in order to be validated, IT IS COMPULSORY TO include at least one Project Cooperation profile under your Cooperation offer section with information on what expertise you are offering or you are looking for against the topic(s) of your interest.
How to include a cooperation profile?
-
Access your profile through the link.
-
Click on your profile picture.
-
Select "Dashboard" and scroll down.
-
Go to “Create Opportunities” and click on “Add Opportunities”.
Tips to fill in a project cooperation:
· Title: Main idea or possible role in the project
· Description: You can include here the capabilities of your entity: what can you do specifically for the topic or possible role in a proposal, your previous experience (national or European projects), if you have a prototype/pilot plant/demonstration site, if you can involve other partners in the idea… You can also include a picture/graphic to increase the interest in your profile (at the end of the page).
· Project stage: If you have a concept idea or project, this is early stage. Select planning if you are sure about applying to a topic or you have developed a strategy to have this idea done. If you have a prototype/demo site/experience in a current project you select execution. If you are not sure of what select, just keep it empty.
· Topic/Call: If you are interested in participating in a specific topic with your capabilities you can select from the list. It can be completed with the call selection if you consider your capabilities can cover other topics in the destination. From previous experiences we know this criterion is one of the most used by participants to find partners and organise meetings.
· Type of cooperation sought: If you are going to coordinate or just looking to join a consortium.
**You will receive an automatic e-mail from B2M immediatly after your registration and then another e-mail from the organizing team for improving your profile before getting validated if needed: PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAMS.
