Investor Lab Academy is designed to help startups and scale-ups strengthen their fundraising readiness and engage more effectively with investors.
Across 5 sessions , participants will work on the key elements that matter in the fundraising journey from business planning, go-to-market and traction to startup valuation, term sheets and governance, ESG expectations from investors, and the use of AI to support business development and operations.
With the contribution of investors, advisors and experienced professionals, the Academy provides practical tools to help startups structure their growth path and engage more effectively with investors and corporate partners.
From Business Plan to Market: key elements for planning your initiative and structuring your pitch

This module will cover the key elements required to build and validate a business plan and to structure an effective pitch for investors
Start-up valuation methods most commonly used by investors

This module aims to illustrate the principles and fundamentals of startup valuation. In particular, it will provide an overview of the main valuation methods adopted by market operators and investors.
Opening a funding round: what start-ups need to know about Term Sheets and Corporate Governance

This module will help startups and founders understand the role of the term sheet—a (non-binding) document outlining the key economic and contractual terms of an investment proposal—and the main legal and governance implications associated with the entry of new investors.

This webinar aims to describe the main applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in business processes and their associated benefits. Following an initial overview of AI evolution, practical use cases will be presented to provide a detailed and concrete understanding of the topic
The Investor Lab Academy is delivered by SIMPLER– which acts as the access point for Lombardy and Emilia-Romagna to the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), the world’s largest international network supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
