The pitch deck should be prepared according to the following format.

Maximum 10 slides (excluding cover and contact information slides):

1. Company - This slide contains the name of the company and the person presenting the project. It should state what you do briefly, concisely, and clearly.Your idea must create value and improve the quality of life, change something wrong or preventing something right from disappearing.

2. Team - It describes your management team. This is one of the most important slides. You should explain who your collaborators are and why you chose them for your project.

3. Track record - It contains your results to date and your professional history. Therefore, your experience in the sector should be highlighted and demonstrated.

4. Business Model - It describes the business model, i.e., the set of organizational and strategic solutions with which the company transforms innovation into value (profit).

5. The Market - It describes the market in which the company operates and the uniqueness and value of the product for customers.

 6. The Competition - It analyzes your competitors (both direct and indirect). Declaring the existence of a certain number of competitors and then demonstrating the added value of your product is a key element.

7. The Target - It Indicates the potential customer segment you intend to reach. It's important to focus on those who believe in you, ignoring those who don't like your idea.

8. SWOT Analysis The Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats of a project or business are analyzed.First impressions are important, so it's a good idea to capitalize on this opportunity by leveraging your strengths.

9. The Numbers - In this slide, indicate the numbers: investment plan, projections, and the so-called "expected trend," i.e., an economic and financial outlook for at least three years.

10. The Request - On the last slide, include an explicit request: how much you need and for what. It's important to be as specific as possible about your needs and related requests.

N.B.  Venture capital investors offer not only money, but also skills, expertise, and a network of contacts. It's also important to identify the professional contribution you'd like to receive.
