Agricultural practitioner partner for a European restoration living-lab network

Gazda Kontroll is a Hungarian agricultural advisory and innovation company working with more than 300 farms. We want to join a consortium building a European network of nature restoration living labs. Our role would be to make sure that farmers and agricultural advisers can use the network's results. We have a worked-out concept for our contribution.

What we offer

• Practitioner knowledge. We collect implementation lessons from farmers and advisers. These cover land access, management effort, costs and financing barriers.

• Shared learning. We contribute field visits, peer exchange and training material. This helps new living labs apply validated methods in different farm settings.

• Uptake with authorities. We test whether common deployment guidance is clear and workable for agricultural users. We do this together with network coordinators and restoration authorities.

• Links to advisory systems. Our advisers work across arable, horticulture, fruit, vine and livestock systems. We have experience in AKIS, Communities of Practice and adviser training from I2Connect and Climate Smart Advisors.

Envisioned role
Agricultural practitioner-network and knowledge-uptake partner within an established European coordination consortium.

Partners we are looking for
A coordinator that is a recognised European living-lab or restoration network organisation.

Track record
GK coordinates a Horizon Europe thematic knowledge hub on protein crops, which has been selected for funding. Through MSZFE we reach more than 370 value-chain actors and have strong links to the Hungarian agricultural press.
