About

Changefied is a Dutch social-impact company developing modular 6DoF immersive learning environments that help people safely practise real-life skills and become more independent.

Our first proven module, Virtual Public Transport, helps neurodivergent young people and others who need additional support practise travelling by public transport. In realistic and interactive scenarios, users can navigate, make decisions and learn from mistakes without real-world consequences. The module is implemented by schools, care organisations, public authorities and mobility partners in the Netherlands.

Virtual Public Transport forms the foundation of Virtual Empowerment, our broader platform for practising everyday skills across areas such as mobility, work, social interaction and independent living.

We combine immersive technology with neuro-inclusive design, practical implementation and impact evaluation. We are interested in European collaboration with research institutions, technology partners, public authorities and implementation organisations working on inclusive virtual worlds, education, mobility and social participation.
