Learning Room

The Learning Room is an immersive learning platform designed to help neurodivergent children practise everyday situations in a safe and controlled environment before encountering them in real life.

The project was developed following research across 14 special-learning environments in Mumbai. A three-month impact study was subsequently conducted across two schools with 36 learners with moderate cognitive disabilities. The study demonstrated a 27% increase in retention, and the research was presented and published through ICCEL Tokyo.

The Learning Room has also been selected for the IMPULSE programme at Immersive Tech Week Rotterdam, introducing the project to the European immersive technology and innovation ecosystem.

With our Belgian entity supporting our European activities, we are now looking to build the next phase through academic and research collaboration in Europe. We have initiated discussions with AP University of Applied Sciences and Arts Antwerp around potential research collaboration and are interested in connecting with additional universities, research institutions, schools, healthcare organisations and inclusion specialists.

Potential cooperation areas include independent validation, larger European user studies, behavioural and learning research, cultural adaptation, accessibility, impact measurement, development of new learning scenarios and pilot deployments.

We are particularly interested in Horizon Europe partnerships focused on inclusive education, neurodiversity, life-skills development, immersive learning and evidence-based digital interventions.
