Floating Platforms for Sustainable Vegetable Production

Vivende is developing a new concept of modular floating platforms designed for sustainable vegetable and horticultural production.

The project combines floating infrastructure with hydroponic cultivation, water management, renewable energy, sensor systems, automation and digital monitoring.

The R&D concept may include:

• modular floating cultivation structures,

• lightweight and durable construction materials,

• hydroponic and soilless cultivation systems,

• nutrient and water circulation,

• renewable energy integration,

• autonomous monitoring and control,

• IoT sensors and AI-based cultivation optimisation,

• plant growth and yield modelling,

• water-quality monitoring,

• environmental impact assessment,

• climate adaptation and resilience,

• real-life pilot installations.

We are particularly interested in cooperation with Norwegian partners experienced in aquaculture technologies, marine structures, hydroponics, controlled-environment agriculture, water engineering, sensors, AI, renewable energy and environmental sciences.

The objective is to develop and validate a scalable technology suitable for commercial food production and climate-adaptation applications.
