Objective of the EEA Grants

The EEA Grants contribute to reducing economic and social disparities within the European Economic Area and strengthening bilateral relations between Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Poland as a Beneficiary States.

The EEA Grants promote the European green transition, democracy, rule of law and human rights and social inclusion and resilience.

Objective of the Applied Research and Innovation Programme

The Applied Research and Innovation Programme aims to enhance the quality of research in Poland, develope knowledge and research based innovative solutions in key priorities of the EEA Grants. The Programme focuses on research excellence and supports human capital development, including early-stage and female researchers, and research managers. The Programme promotes interdisciplinarity, cross-sectoral approaches, and internationalisation of research, particularly through bilateral cooperation with Donor States. It also encourages the valorisation of research results.

The National Centre for Research and Development, as the Programme Operator, together with the Programme Partners, invites applicants to submit project proposals under the POLNORIS call.

Applicants from Poland and the Donor States (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) are invited to submit joint project proposals focused on developing innovative products and solutions with strong market potential.

This platform serves as a dedicated matchmaking and networking space. It connects organisations from Poland and the Donor States, enabling them to:

- present their expertise and project ideas,

- search for potential partners,

- initiate collaborations,

- schedule one-to-one meetings at any time.
