AI partner for multimodal predictive biomarkers (HORIZON-HLTH-2027-02-TOOL-01)
Professor of Computational Medical Imaging Research at Albarqouni Lab. @ University Hospital Bonn | University of Bonn

About
We offer to join a consortium for HORIZON-HLTH-2027-02-TOOL-01 (AI-based predictive biomarkers for chronic NCDs) as AI partner or work-package leader. We bring: multimodal imaging AI (MRI, CT, X-ray) to derive and validate imaging biomarkers and combine them with clinical and real-world data; federated learning to train and validate models across hospitals without moving patient data; and trustworthy-AI evaluation (robustness, uncertainty, fairness) following the FUTURE-AI guideline we co-authored. Clinical cohorts and validation at the University Hospital Bonn (neurology/MS, radiology, cardiovascular and musculoskeletal imaging).
Looking for: coordinators and clinical partners with longitudinal patient cohorts in neurodegenerative, cardiovascular, or musculoskeletal disease.
