About
Corsano Health, a Dutch digital health SME, is looking to join a Horizon Europe consortium addressing HORIZON-HLTH-2027-02-TOOL-01-two-stage: Development of predictive biomarkers of disease progression and treatment response by using AI methodologies for chronic non-communicable diseases.
Our CardioWatch platform enables medical-grade continuous physiological and behavioural monitoring in hospital, home and real-world settings. It provides measurements including heart rate, ECG, SpO₂, respiratory parameters, temperature, activity and sleep, with access to raw PPG, ECG and accelerometer signals.
These longitudinal data can complement established clinical, laboratory, imaging and molecular biomarkers to improve disease characterisation, personalised risk assessment and prediction of treatment response.
Potential contributions to a consortium include:
-
Collection and processing of longitudinal physiological and behavioural data.
-
Development and evaluation of wearable-derived digital biomarkers and personalised baseline models.
-
Integration of physiological signals with clinical, EHR, laboratory, imaging and other multimodal datasets.
-
Contribution to AI-based prediction of disease progression and treatment response.
-
Independent clinical validation of candidate digital biomarkers in suitable patient cohorts.
-
Integration of wearable-derived outputs into research and clinical decision-support workflows.
-
Remote monitoring and data collection in multicentre clinical studies.
Corsano is particularly interested in cardiovascular, cardiometabolic and chronic respiratory diseases, as well as other NCDs where continuous real-world monitoring can provide additional clinical information beyond periodic measurements.
We are seeking collaboration with research organisations, hospitals, clinical data owners, biomarker specialists and AI partners with suitable existing longitudinal datasets and a defined clinical validation concept.
Corsano could contribute as a core technology and research partner, potentially leading a work package or tasks on digital biomarkers, wearable data processing, longitudinal monitoring or clinical validation.
