About
MYRA Technologies AB is a Swedish deep-tech startup developing advanced biosensing technologies for continuous, minimally invasive and personalised molecular health monitoring.
We are actively seeking to join consortia preparing proposals under Horizon Europe Cluster 1 – Health 2027 as a technology development, research and innovation partner.
Our technological expertise
MYRA can contribute expertise in:
-
Molecular biosensing: Aptamer-based molecular recognition, electrochemical sensing and biomarker detection technologies.
-
Continuous biomarker monitoring: Technologies for repeated and longitudinal monitoring of biologically relevant molecular signals.
-
Point-of-care diagnostics: Miniaturised sensing concepts and integration of molecular detection into portable diagnostic platforms.
-
Low-power and autonomous biosensing: Sensor electronics, energy-efficient architectures and energy-harvesting concepts for next-generation sensing systems.
-
Advanced sensor engineering: Anti-fouling surface strategies, biosensor functionalisation, miniaturisation and system integration.
-
Digital health integration: Sensor data acquisition, telemetry and integration of molecular measurements into digital health and AI-enabled analytical workflows.
Potential contributions to Horizon Europe projects
MYRA is interested in contributing to dedicated work packages and research tasks involving:
-
Design and development of molecular biosensing technologies and sensing interfaces.
-
Integration of biosensors into wearable, portable or implantable monitoring platforms.
-
Development and optimisation of low-power sensing architectures.
-
Prototype development, system integration and experimental validation.
-
Generation of longitudinal biomarker data for personalised monitoring and AI-based health applications.
-
Collaborative technology development with clinical, academic and industrial partners.
Priority research and innovation areas
We are particularly interested in Horizon Europe Health 2027 proposals addressing:
-
Portable and versatile point-of-care diagnostics.
-
Personalised medicine and precision health.
-
Continuous monitoring of chronic and non-communicable diseases.
-
Early detection, prevention and predictive biomarker technologies.
-
Healthy ageing and long-term health monitoring.
-
AI-enabled diagnostics and multimodal biomarker interpretation.
-
Next-generation medical sensors and decentralised healthcare technologies.
Partnership sought
MYRA is seeking to join existing or emerging Horizon Europe consortia coordinated by universities, research organisations, hospitals, healthcare technology companies or industrial partners.
We are particularly interested in partnerships where advanced biosensing, molecular monitoring, sensing electronics or sensor integration capabilities are needed to complement existing clinical, biological or digital health expertise.
Our preferred role: Research and innovation partner responsible for well-defined technical tasks, prototype development, sensor integration or dedicated technology-oriented work packages.
We welcome discussions with project coordinators and consortium developers preparing Horizon Europe Health 2027 proposals and exploring opportunities for complementary technological expertise.
