About
MYRA Technologies AB – Technology Partner for Ultra-Low-Power and Energy-Autonomous Biosensing
About us
MYRA Technologies AB is a Swedish deep-tech SME developing molecular biosensing technologies for continuous, minimally invasive and personalised health monitoring. We are seeking to join Horizon Europe 2027 consortia developing ultra-low-power, energy-efficient and energy-autonomous biosensing platforms for medical and healthcare applications. We address the energy, miniaturisation, lifetime and integration limits of wearable and implantable sensors by combining biosensing, advanced materials, microelectronics and energy harvesting.
Our technological expertise
-
Ultra-low-power biosensing: energy-efficient molecular sensing for continuous monitoring.
-
Miniaturised sensing electronics: low-power sensor interfaces and readout architectures.
-
Energy harvesting and power autonomy: integration of harvesting approaches for self-powered sensor concepts.
-
Implantable and wearable biosensors: system-level design and integration into miniaturised monitoring platforms.
-
Molecular and electrochemical sensing: aptamer-based recognition, electrochemical detection and signal acquisition.
-
Advanced sensor surfaces: anti-fouling and functionalisation for stability in biological environments.
-
Sensor data acquisition: integration with telemetry and digital monitoring infrastructures.
-
Prototyping and validation: development and laboratory testing of biosensing demonstrators.

Partnership sought
We seek to join consortia coordinated by universities, research organisations, advanced materials institutes, microelectronics laboratories, medtech companies or experienced R&I coordinators. We are especially interested in consortia developing novel energy-harvesting materials, ultra-low-power electronics or miniaturised biomedical technologies that need a realistic biosensing application and an integrated demonstrator. MYRA can act as an application and technology-integration partner, bridging materials, electronics and practical molecular sensing.
Preferred project role
Research and technology development partner responsible for defined tasks or work packages on biosensor integration and miniaturisation, ultra-low-power system design, energy-harvesting and power-management integration, and prototype development with experimental verification in relevant laboratory environments.
Expected outcomes
Proof-of-concept energy-autonomous biosensors; reduced power consumption; integrated miniature demonstrators; longer sensor lifetime and reliability; new integration pathways for wearable and implantable monitoring.
We welcome discussions with Horizon Europe 2027 coordinators seeking expertise in molecular biosensing, ultra-low-power electronics and energy-harvesting integration for next-generation medical sensing.
