Advancing Embryology with AI: benchmarking cell development for clinical relevance

Post doctoral Candidate at Simula Research Laboratory

Oslo, Norway

About

This research delves into the innovative use of 3D cell visualization and application of artificial intelligence (AI) in assisted reproductive technologies (ART), with a focus on assessing embryo quality for transfer. By comparing advanced 3D imaging to traditional time-lapse incubators, the study aims to uncover insights that could enhance clinical outcomes in ART. It also examines how machine learning accuracy can be improved by integrating depth information into 2D models or directly analyzing 3D cellular data, ultimately enhancing our understanding of embryo development and increasing the chances of successful pregnancies.
