Simula Research Laboratory

Simula is a research organization dedicated to solving fundamental problems in ICT for the benefit of society. By bridging the gap between data science and medicine, Simula translates computational research into clinical practice through the development of high-accuracy AI diagnostics and digital health interventions. This work ensures that emerging healthcare technologies are scientifically validated, patient-centered, and safely integrated into public infrastructure. These efforts are driven by close collaboration with leading Norwegian and international research institutions, industry partners, and the public sector.
