Digital technologies for agrifood sector
Project Manager at Department of International projects at Technological Institute of Aragon
Zaragoza, Spain
About
These collaborations are supported by the knowledge of different teams of the Institute such as, the IoT, the Robotics and Mecatronics, the Industrial Processes, or the Big Data and Cognitive Systems teams. Individually or cooperatively, these teams have participated in several public and private founded projects covering most (if not all) of the steps of the agrifood supply chain (AFSC).
These projects are developed together with or to different agrifood stakeholders. Some of our partners are public bodies, such as the Agriculture, Livestocking and Environment Department of the Government of Aragón (DAGMA), the Aragonese Society of Agricultural Management (SARGA), the Food Research and Technology Center (CITA) or the Food Institute of Aragón (I2A) of the University of Zaragoza. Other of our partners are private companies, both SMEs/Start-ups, such as Paintec, S.L., or big companies such as Grandes Vinos y Viñedos (GVyV) or Grupo Costa.
We also collaborate with farmers and industrial associations. Considering farming associations, we collaborate with the Union of Farmers and Ranchers of Aragón (UAGA) or the Association of pistachios of Aragón (APISTAR) between others. In the case of agro-industry associations, we collaborate with the Association of Food Industries of Aragón (AIAA) and we are members the Technology Platform “Food for Life” Spain (PTF4L), the Agricultural Machinery Cluster of Aragón and The Logistics Cluster of Aragón (ALIA). In addition, we are coleading the Agri-food task force of the BDVA and we are members of GAIA-X and IDSA.
