About

Majoli is a Nebbiolo produced in Upper Piedmont, from vineyards located in the Sella estate in the township of Cerreto Castello.

An aristocratic Nebbiolo in its most jovial and carefree version, Majoli expresses freshness and delicacy, making drinkability its defining characteristic.

The vineyards are situated on hillsides between 270 and 350 metres above sea level, with southwest and southeast exposure. The vines, with an average age of 15 years, are trained using the traditional Guyot system and grow on pH-acid soils composed of kaolinic clay.

The wine is made from 100% Nebbiolo. After destemming and crushing, the must remains in contact with its lees for five days, followed by soft pressing without skin maceration. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, followed by clarification and bâtonnage for three months.

Malolactic fermentation is not carried out. The wine is aged for five months in stainless steel tanks.

Thanks to its freshness and structure, Majoli is a versatile and approachable expression, with an ageing potential of up to three years.
