About
This rosé is a fresh and versatile expression of our winemaking style, born in the hills of Costigliole d’Asti from Barbera and Merlot grapes grown on sandy, clayey and calcareous soils. The vines, averaging around 25 years of age, are trained according to the traditional Piedmont Guyot system. After careful selection and harvesting, the grapes undergo gentle pressing with a nitrogen press, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. The wine is then aged in stainless steel for three months and refined in bottle for at least one additional month, preserving its brightness and expressive fruit. In the glass, it shows a vivid deep pink colour. The nose is pleasantly intense, with inviting fruity notes, while the palate is fresh and persistent, marked by a slight pleasantly bitter finish that adds character and balance. With its lively and food-friendly nature, it pairs beautifully with white meats, cured meats, fish and medium-aged cheeses. Best served at 8–10°C.
