Barbera D'Asti DOCG "PRIMAVERA"

“Primavera” is our young and vibrant expression of Barbera, a wine that captures the freshness and charm of this variety in its most immediate and inviting form. Grown in Costigliole d’Asti on sandy, clayey, tufaceous and calcareous soils, it comes from vines aged between 10 and 30 years, trained according to the traditional Piedmont Guyot system. Made from 100% Barbera grapes, it is vinified in stainless steel at controlled temperature to preserve its purity and liveliness, then aged in steel for about six months and refined in bottle before release. In the glass, it shows a ruby red colour with garnet hues. The bouquet opens with notes of red fruit and delicate hints of almond, while the palate is fresh, full and harmonious, with a pleasant sense of balance and drinkability. With an alcohol content of 13% vol., it pairs beautifully with cold cuts, first courses, boiled meats, mixed grills and roasted dishes, and is best enjoyed at around 18°C.”
