Strategic Partnership – Vacuum-Buoyancy Aerospace Platforms

Vauxminster Aeronautics is seeking strategic partners to help develop, demonstrate and commercialise a new generation of persistent, zero-emission aircraft based on our patented vacuum-buoyancy technology.

Our technology replaces conventional lifting gases such as helium or hydrogen with a lightweight structural vacuum. Combined with solar-electric power and propulsion, this has the potential to create highly persistent aerial platforms with low operating costs and no consumable lifting gas.

Our initial focus is High-Altitude Platform Systems (HAPS) and persistent atmospheric infrastructure, with applications including 5G/6G and non-terrestrial network (NTN) communications, sensing and surveillance, environmental monitoring, defence, maritime operations and near-space testing. Longer-term opportunities include larger zero-emission and heavy-lift aircraft.

We are interested in partnerships with Singapore organisations that can bring complementary capabilities to the development and commercialisation of the technology, including:

• advanced composites and lightweight aerospace structures;

• precision and advanced manufacturing;

• materials, membranes and barrier technologies;

• 5G/6G, NTN and RF communications;

• sensing, surveillance and Earth observation;

• autonomous flight and control systems;

• solar-electric power and energy storage;

• aerospace systems integration and testing;

• defence and dual-use applications; and

• access to customers, demonstration opportunities and Asia-Pacific markets.

Our development roadmap progresses from structural and subsystem hardware validation toward a 12–15 m flight demonstrator, initially via tethered testing and subsequently via powered flight and endurance testing.

We are open to different partnership models, including joint R&D, technology integration, joint demonstrations, manufacturing partnerships, commercial alliances and strategic investment.

For the UK–Singapore opportunity, we are particularly interested in identifying organisations whose technology or capabilities could become an integral part of the VauxAero platform, creating a partnership that extends beyond an individual-funded project.

We are not simply looking for suppliers. We want partners who see the opportunity to help establish vacuum buoyancy as a new aerospace technology and build its applications together.
