Investment in Next-Generation Vacuum-Buoyancy Aerospace Technology

Vauxminster Aeronautics is seeking strategic investors to support the development and commercialisation of a potentially new class of aerospace technology.

Our patented vacuum-buoyancy architecture is designed to replace helium or hydrogen with a lightweight structural vacuum, enabling persistent, solar-electric aerial platforms without consumable lifting gas.

The initial commercial focus is High-Altitude Platform Systems (HAPS) and persistent atmospheric infrastructure, with applications including 5G/6G and NTN communications, sensing and surveillance, environmental monitoring, defence, maritime operations and near-space technology testing. Longer-term applications could extend to much larger zero-emission and heavy-lift aircraft.

The technology has progressed through structural modelling and independent analysis with Cranfield University. The prototype architecture has been defined, and material, structural and subsystem testing is planned as the programme progresses toward physical validation and flight demonstration.

Our development roadmap targets a 12–15 m demonstrator, beginning with tethered testing before progressing to solar-electric-powered flight and endurance testing.

We are particularly interested in strategic investment from organisations that can contribute more than capital: aerospace and advanced manufacturing expertise, communications technology, access to testing and demonstration facilities, market channels, customers, or Asia-Pacific commercial relationships.

Investment would support the transition from analytical validation through hardware and subsystem testing toward an integrated flight demonstrator, helping establish the technical and commercial foundations for a new generation of persistent atmospheric platforms.
