About
We analyse fresh and processed plant materials, as well as by-products and residues obtained in the manufacture of juices (fruit and vegetable).
The bioactive compounds are extracted form the matrix sample through green technologies (Assisted Solvent Extraction, Microwave-Assisted Extraction, Ultrasound-Assisted Extraction, IR Laser Irradiation Extraction, Maceration).
The compounds of interest are identified and quantified through chromatographic technologies.
The antioxidant capacity is evaluated by various procedures (ABTS, DPPH, FRAP, CUPRAC, ORAC).
