Advanced Research & Innovation for Energy Transition and Circular Economy
Business Developer at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia
Turin, Italy
About
The Centre for Sustainable Future Technologies (CSFT), part of the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia and based in Turin, is an interdisciplinary research hub dedicated to advancing energy transition, circular economy, and climate neutrality. The centre focuses on reducing CO₂ emissions, improving renewable energy efficiency, and strengthening the European green hydrogen value chain.
CSFT conducts advanced research on next-generation nanomaterials, catalysts, electrodes, membranes, and energy systems to minimise the environmental impact of energy production, storage, and distribution. Its work also includes the valorisation of waste molecules and their conversion into high-value products using innovative chemical and microbial platforms.
Through collaborative research projects, technology transfer, and industrial partnerships, CSFT supports companies, institutions, and policymakers in developing scalable, sustainable energy solutions. The centre offers strong expertise in applied research, pilot development, and innovation management to accelerate the deployment of climate-positive technologies.
