The Centre for Sustainable Future Technologies (based in Turin) is an interdisciplinary research hub fully committed to energy transition, circular economy, and sustainability. Its main scientific objectives include reducing anthropogenic CO2 emissions, improving the efficiency of alternative energies, and developing a European energy supply chain based on green hydrogen. To achieve these goals, the CSFT's strategy focuses on the development and study of next-generation nanomaterials, processes, and systems to minimize the environmental impact of energy production, storage, distribution, and use. Our cutting-edge research includes the study of catalysts, electrodes, membranes, and fuels. Significant attention is also dedicated to the valorization of waste molecules and their conversion into valuable products, including through microbial platforms.
The Centre for Sustainable Future Technologies develops cutting-edge materials and systems to support decarbonisation, green hydrogen, and sustainable energy solutions.
