About
We are seeking strategic partners interested in long‑term collaboration in the fields of microbiome‑based bioremediation, fungal biodiversity, and sustainable soil restoration. Our research activities at the University of Turin (DBIOS), and within the National Biodiversity Future Center (NBFC; Spoke 5 Urban Biodiversity), focus on developing nature‑based solutions that harness microbial communities to remediate polluted environments and enhance ecosystem resilience.
We aim to collaborate with organizations—including companies, research centres, environmental agencies, municipalities and NGOs—that are committed to environmental innovation, circular bioeconomy approaches, and the implementation of scalable, low‑impact remediation strategies. Partnership activities may include joint research initiatives, knowledge exchange, access to microbial resources, co‑development of technologies, participation in collaborative networks, and support for translational applications.
Together, we can foster impactful, biodiversity‑centered solutions to address soil contamination challenges, promote sustainability, and support the transition to greener urban and industrial ecosystems.
