Transporeon offers it's transportation management platform services (Visibility, Procurement, Execution)

Head of Business Development at Transporeon

Ulm, Germany

About

[BCG Boston Consutling Group named Transporeon the leading European logistic platform.]

Transporeon’s contribution to the action plan "EU Ukraine Solidarity Lanes" is to put its transportation management platform to work, offering visibility, procurement and execution capability.

Transporeon will offer its Visibility Platform by Sixfold for all involved parties (producers, traders, railway undertakings, barge operators, trucking companies, …) to identify live congestions and transit times across the region. Whether in terminals, ports or border crossings. This is still work in progress at present, the outcome will be a map which will be protected and available only to the actors of the EU Ukraine Solidarity Lanes. This map will not show individual shipments or vehicles but accumulated transit times within the points of interest. Companies which would like to share data are welcome and should reach out to EU-Ukraine-Solidarity-Lanes@transporeon.com

In addition, Transporeon will offer its Freight Procurement platform for free and the needed consultancy services to run the project at cost to all shippers and carriers engaged in exporting Ukraine produce worldwide. This service will give suppliers in the Ukraine access to the market’s leading transportation management platform, enabling logistics providers to submit prices and capacities in an efficient and cost-effective way. In line with the suggestion from the Hungarian representative (call dated May 19th).

We’d like to encourage you to get involved:

  1. Interested parties (Importers, Exporters, Producers, Associations, Logistics Partners etc.) can get in touch with us via: EU-Ukraine-Solidarity-Lanes@Transporeon.com

  2. After an individual consultation, we can offer the following two options:

a. Individual (fast Go-To-Market) approach for Shippers / Cargo Owners

  • Use the TP Carrier Database for free to find new partner out of the 45k registered logistics suppliers and add your own, current logistics suppliers
  • Run a free RFI towards newly found providers from the TP Database and your own, current logistics suppliers to tackle the current logistics constraints, discuss and find new options and opportunities
  • In case the RFI findings are promising, you can run a RFQ on costs basis via Transporeon Freight Procurement to find available capacity and prices.

b) Collaborative approach with multiple Shippers / Cargo Owners

  • Shippers and Cargo Owners align jointly on defined routes / destinations where they need transportation capacity and freight prices
  • Parties share their existing logistics service providers for all transport modes for free registration within the carrier database of Transporeon
  • Based on requirements and routes / destinations, we will run a joint search within the TP carrier database to find additional logistics service providers who can fulfil the requirements
  • Within a free Request for Information (RFI), we can request more information from the logistics service providers and collect ideas on solving the current issues.
  • In case the RFI findings are promising, we will run a collaborative sourcing event combining all identified routes / destinations, transport modes and volumes to find available capacity and prices
  • This collaborative approach will take longer as it will need preparation, data collection and harmonization - Transporeon will cover the cost for this event, Shippers / Cargo Owners only pay a limited participation fee on cost level (depending on number of participants)
  • Mind that shippers won’t be able to identify other shipper’s volumes or credentials. Only invited capacity providers may see the individual shippers and Logistics Service Providers
  1. After the individual consultation, it is planned to inform all interested parties about the collaborative options and invite to an online workshop.
