About the Event
The international online event From Grid Systems to Biomethane & Hydrogen: Smart, Alternative and Decentralised Energy Solutions for Industry and Transport is organised within the Sustainable Transport & Trade Matchmaking Platform (STaTMP) in cooperation with Enterprise Europe Network (EEN). STaTMP is supported by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
STaTMP currently brings together more than 1,000 companies and organisations from over 50 countries, providing an international environment for business and technology partnerships, technology transfer, pilot initiatives and international commercial projects.
The event aims to bring together stakeholders from Ukraine, the Eastern Partnership countries and the European Union to discuss European integration in the energy sector and practical technological solutions, including energy grid modernisation, microgrids, decentralised generation, energy storage systems, renewable energy sources, biomethane and bio-LNG.
A key focus will be identifying concrete technological and regulatory needs in Ukraine and other Eastern Partnership countries and connecting them with European partners for business cooperation, technology transfer, pilot and demonstration projects, investment and commercial partnerships.
The event will also address Ukraine's progress towards EU integration in the energy sector, including regulatory and institutional changes, future priorities and opportunities for developing the biomethane market and integrating it into the European energy market.
